• Guests must be of legal age and able to show a valid photo identification in order to purchase alcohol.
• The Box Office accepts the following methods of payment: Cash, MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express, and Discover®. Please note there will be a $2.00 transaction fee added to each ticket purchased at the Murat Centre Box Office.
• There will be no re-entry once you have been admitted to this venue. Re-entry is only allowed for special circumstances and must be approved by a staff member.
• Camping is not allowed.
• The Murat Centre provides wheelchair accessible seating.
• Premier Parking is available for a limited number of vehicles for $15.00 per vehicle. Premier Parking spaces stay reserved until the start of the show and are not first-come, first-serve. Premier Parking spaces can no longer be guaranteed if you arrive after the event begins. You may reserve a Premier Parking space by calling (317) 239-5151. General parking in The Murat Centre lots is $8 and is available on a first-come first-served basis.
• For select performances, group seating is available for parties of 20 or more. For more information, please refer to the show specific information on our website, or call the Murat Centre directly.
• Items allowed in this venue include: Small backpacks (daypacks), pocketbooks, purses and handbags, and binoculars.
• The venue is fitted with First Aid services.
• Monday – Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. On show days the Box Office opens approximately two hours prior to show time and remains open until 30 minutes after the scheduled performance time.
• The Lawn provides interpreting services upon request. After you have purchased your ticket, please contact Chris Dickey at [email protected] in order to obtain an interpreter. We ask that you make this request 14 days before the performance, and no later than 48 hours before the performance.
• The facility is fitted with full service and special needs accessible restrooms.

• All Guests must wear shirts, shoes, and pants. No studded belts/necklaces or wallet chains are permitted.
• The venue is fitted with both professional security staff and uniformed police officers.
• From the North:
  Take I-65 south to the Meridian Street downtown exit. Go south on Meridian street to North Street, and go east. Continue on North Street to Alabama. Go south on Alabama and continue for one-half block to the parking lot entrance, on your left.
  
  From the South:
  Take I-65 north to the Market Street exit and turn left. Continue on Market Street until you reach New Jersey, and go north. Take New Jersey to Michigan and go west. Continue on Michigan for one block to Alabama. Turn north on Alabama and continue for one-half block to the parking lot entrance, on your right.
  
  From the East:
  Take I-70 west to the Michigan Street exit downtown. Go west on Michigan until you reach Alabama. Turn north on Alabama and continue for one-half block until you reach the parking lot entrance, on your right.
  
  From the West:
  Take I-70 east to the Market Street exit downtown, which is immediately following the merger of I-65 south and I-70. Go west on Market Street until you reach New Jersey and go north. Continue on New Jersey to Michigan and go west. Take Michigan one block to Alabama. Turn north on Alabama and continue for one-half block until you reach the parking lot entrance, on your right.

• Children under the age of one are permitted inside the venue free of charge. All other children must have a ticket.
• The Murat Center offers ATM services to our guests.
• Construction of the Murat Shrine Temple began in 1909 with its opening on February 28, 1910. This was a dream come true to the five local masons who first came up with this vision in 1882. This bold landmark was accomplished through studies of Arabian and Egyptian architecture. The studies resulted in enormous towers, copper roofing, patterned brick work, and stained glass windows set within arched openings of varying design. In 1922 an addition was made to the Murat, due to the increased interest in live performances. This new section nearly doubled the size of the Murat with the mighty addition of the Egyptian Room. The Egyptian Room was complete with colorful columns of hieroglyphics and massive chandeliers adorned with glowing busts of King Tut. In 1995, facing a possibility of abandonment, the building underwent a face lift to replace and increase theatre seating, parking, restroom, refreshment and handicap seating facilities, enhancing the caliber of the stage and sound production with state-of-the-art lights and sound. Even with all the changes, the history was preserved - 85% of the theatre’s historic fabric was maintained, chairs, sconces, columns, and stained glass windows untouched. Today the Murat Centre is a downtown favorite showcasing live entertainment acts ranging from Broadway musicals to rock concerts to family productions to comedy shows and more!
• Tailgating is not allowed.
• A full service concession facility is located at this venue. Guests may choose from a wide variety of snacks, soft drinks and juices. Beer, wine, and other specialty cocktails are available with proper identification.

• Guests are subject to bag searches and various levels of screening subject to artist or management discretion.
• Photography policies are subject to artist approval and vary by event. Please call on show day for more information.
• Items not allowed in this venue include: Weapons of any kind (this includes pocket knives and wallet chains), laser pointers, skates, banners, flyers, beach balls, Frisbees, fireworks, and outside food or beverage.
• Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.
